Twilight

Although it is slowly thawing, there is still quite a lot of ice on the lakes which is just visible in this late afternoon scene above

I'm a bit behind on commenting Roy...speaking of ice, I'm lucky to be home safe and sound after having to drive on solid ice yesterday! My little Subbie got me home but it was pretty scary! I'm looking at the great posts below and will get back soon! Hope the weather is warming up at bit across the pond!

Hi Roy, Peaceful scene. Love the Pochard. Oh, BTW, in the Perfect Storm, you saw lots of pieces of Gloucester. You actually saw the building where I live a couple of times. Did you notice that Ten Pound Island's light was white, not red?

Love the colors on that photo - so many great shades of blue, very very attractive!

Hi Steve, thanks. No I didn't notice about the light colour, I will have to check that out again.

Thanks Kelly.

Thanks Nic.

Lovely light here, Roy. Thaw has seen most of snow off in Redesdale but we've had another bitterly cold snap for the last three days and everywhere very icy. Best wishes for Christmas.
