Along the River Bank (In Winter)

In October I took some scenes along a river bank in the parkland that I visit
(See link below)

Then it was still nice and green and was quite a pleasant walk
This week it was not so nice, with temperatures around minus 3 celsius my pace was somewhat quicker as I made my way along
Although the recent snowfall had almost gone it was very "crunchy" with frost underfoot and there were just a few Mallards, Tufted Duck and Canada Geese along the river

Hey Roy...There is a beauty to ever season and I can see it in the photos...it may be cold but, you better get used to it of hibernate!! ; }

Nice set Roy.
It's freezing here, minus 12 this morning scraping the car. we've had snow on the ground for 4 weeks on Thursday.
Hope it gets warmer for us soon!

...incredibly beautiful blue skies!!! We rarely see skies that blue in winter...grey is more our pace--uugh. I love these beautiful photos.

we get a reasonable amount of blue skies, but they are just not very warm ones.{:)
